This was a great read! Lucy lives with her husband Ed and two children Stan and Jack. She battles feeling like she has little support from Ed along with motherhood struggles and missing aspects of her 'old' life.

Stan is at the forefront of the storyline and the way he was portrayed with sensitivity and kindness was beautifully written. Lucy feels like something is missing in her life but throughout the story she realises she has everything she really needs.

I couldn't warm to Ed for the most part but the way he approaches situations makes more sense as you read on and left me with a different view on him near the end. There were funny, sad and frustrating moments that really helped you connect to Lucy and her family.

I liked how the author Katy used her real life experiences as I could tell aspects relating to autism and Lucy's job were from a knowledgeable perspective. I also really enjoyed the shorter snapshot chapters as I found it more engaging than long-winded ones. Overall a lovely read.
