I wasn't keen on this book to start with. The main character annoyed me with her constant moaning and her inability to realise that putting her son through certain things was just going to make his autism worse. However as the book went on I did start to enjoy it more and empathised more with the main character and her plight. I think more time could have been taken to explore what they did after the book had ended, especially with her career.
I liked the short chapters, made it easier to pick up and put down the book and I felt it portrayed how it can be with an autistic child well.
I liked the name of the book, it suited the book and the front cover was good too.
Overall I would recommend this book to a friend but I would encourage them to read half of the book before giving up if they do not like it as it did get better as the book went on.
I would read another by this author.
