This book is beautiful; inside and out. I love the front cover as it's bright and the title captures the book perfectly. M is for Mummy is an all-round good read; it is heart warming and funny yet it touches on taboo subjects like autism that you don't read much about. I think the author has captured the characters (Mother Lucy and autistic child Stan) really well which I assume that's because Lucy's character is not too dissimilar to the author's family situation. So I appreciate the author showing us a glimpse of her life as well as others who are autistic or also have children who are. I love hearing the struggles of motherhood and I love her friends, Lucy has a great support network. I love the author's writing style as it's easy to read and as if you're there with Lucy. I'm looking forward to reading more of the author's books in the future.
