Lucy, a successful Cello player; married to a rock-star, and with a buzzing social life.
Then she had kids!

Lucy lives with her fellow musician husband Ed, their 4 year old son Stanley, and new born baby Jack.
Prior to becoming a mother, Lucy was a successful classical cellist, and had a passionate relationship with her husband.
Now, she spends her days tending to the new born, and Stanley's quirks, whilst trying to relight the flame in her marriage.

I enjoyed M is for Mummy.
It is hilarious in places, and so relatable in others.
Being a mother myself, I could really emphasise with Lucy about how overwhelming it can be with young children, and how you can lose your sense of self.
I really like that the author touched on the additional needs, which I know is something very close to herself. It makes a refreshing change having neurodivergent characters in a book.
