An honest take on motherhood that draws you in straight away. Everything isn’t sugar coated, and is relatable. It is written in an entertainingly light hearted style, making you laugh throughout. I found myself enjoying the recount of stories, often sprinkled with comedy and humour.

At the same time, it was incorrigibly moving and deep. I sympathised with the hardships faced, especially at how the characters tried to cope. I really when the characters were frustrated or sad. Nothing seemed too contrived or fake,

It shows the life of parenting - the ups and downs, which can be important for people like myself who aren’t actually parents and perhaps don’t have the most experience with children. Things didn’t seem perfect at all but her love for family was clear and I felt it through the wonderful writing style. A great read, definitely recommend!
