I absolutely loved this book it made me laugh out loud and it made me cry too. Lucy is the mother of two boys with her husband Ed the oldest of the two is Stanley who is an amazing boy but has problems (we find out later that he has autism but you kind of get that very early on) Lucy’s best friends Charlie and Jen are always there for and seem so much fun to be with, the story mainly centres around Stanley and how he finally gets his diagnosis and the problems he has along the way from his constant fascination with letters, colours, numbers and body parts to his dramatic meltdown at his first ever invite to a friends birthday party. Lucy really struggles to cope when her husband has to go away for a work commitment and gets called to see Stanley’s consultant to get his diagnosis, but all falls in place on jens hen night when she puts all the pieces together and realises that her husband is also on the spectrum, this is a great read especially if you know someone on the spectrum because it’s so relatable
