If you're a parent, you will connect for definite. The description of Lucy as a Mum is brilliant. Every parent goes through this if they are not helped and this book points out how a mother needs to first recognise this and then do something about it. Being stuck with her children at home and feeling very guilty doing anything other than being with them and cleaning after them is sometimes a dream for most parents. I love how relatable Lucy is and you can tell that her even talking about all of the normal same things she is always doing and that her marriage has changed as well seems very crucial. I have only read the first few chapters and it looks like a very easy and real read and would probably finish it in a couple of days. There is obviously humour involved which always makes a read very pleasant and would definitely recommend this to all parents wanting to relate to a character!
