If you’re one of those moms that feels overwhelmed by modern day expectations of balancing a family and a career whilst making it all look Instagram-perfect then this book is perfect for you. M is for Mummy deals with the modern-day stresses of work-life-family balance that so many people struggle with. The tone of the book is light and jovial.
I feel that anyone outside of the target demographic would struggle to enjoy the book as it seems to appeal to a very specific audience. A quick read to enjoy on the beach while you watch your kids in the pool and chuckle to yourself as you reminisce about a time when you were young and carefree.
If you like the “adorable fat girl” books, Bridget Jones Diary or any movie where Colin Firth gets topless then you will probably enjoy this book too.
The cover art is relevant to the target audience so I think it will find its way to the right readers
