Witty and enjoyable
As I'm not a mother, I wasn't sure if this book was going to be for me but I shouldn't have worried as I really enjoyed it.
Lucy, a busy mother of two, before kids had a successful job but gave it all up for her rock star husband. She used to be skinny but now lives the unglamorous life of a mother and only has her children to talk to during the day.
I really felt like I could put myself in Lucy's shoes, despite not having children, and had an insight into what life as a stay at home mother could be, faving the challenges of one being autistic too. It's witty and enjoyable but also real and shows how hard it can be to be a mum and struggling to find the right report
As I said, it doesn't really matter whether you have children or not, this book is still well worth a read and pulls up some issues that many people will be dealing with on a daily basis. Would really recommend.
