I now have Rod Stewart in my head. My first impression of this book is that it is incredibly atmospheric. I’ve not read anything by Ruth Hogan before but the descriptions are amazing & I can already picture the scene and this story sounds so multifaceted that I can imagine devouring it in one go with a cup of tea and a hobnob.
