Living very close to Brighton I feel the book cover very much reflects the Brighton culture. With this local link I was interested to read the first impression.
The opening line is intriguing with the second paragraph being quite evocative of the local seaside feel. One I can relate to from endless weekend trips down to Brighton during my youth.
I quite like the shorter chapters. I find some modern books have very long chapter which can be a bit of bind when I have limited opportunities to enjoy long reading sessions.
