Having never been to a fortune teller I can imagine that although there may be many charlatans out there who pretend to have the gift there are probably some people who might possess certain powers to see into the future - I am not sure. It seems that the character in this book may have been keeping too many secrets from people whom she has read fortunes for and I can also imagine this has taken it' toll. No doubt the author will tell a good tale and explore this in the most intriguing way
