I have been a fan of Ruth Hogan since the Keeper of Lost Things. She has a skill for sketching out relatable characters with genuine depth, and she does it again with Madame Burova. Capturing the life of a retiring clairvoyant, this book nods towards the secrets collected from decades, I can’t wait to read more and find out how all of these characters intertwine- I can be sure that with Ruth Hogan involved, it’s is sure to be an exciting ride.
