I loved reading the opening chapters of this new novel by Ruth Hogan, a new cast of characters with different lives and backgrounds to get to know, set against the backdrop of 1970s Brighton! Imelda is setting up as a Clairvoyant with her rescue puppy and I get the feeling that she will bring together the others and help create friendships and first loves, although will her gifts help her to predict any troubles on the horizon...? The front cover with the stunning leopard print coat gives the impression of someone who is confident of themselves, but might also be worn as a bit of a shield. I adored reading The Keeper of Lost Things so I am positive that I will love this one too!
