I was intrigued by the fact that after 50 years in her field Madame Burova is retiring - it made me think about how many secrets she’s kept during that time and what we may uncover. As this is set in the 70s I imagine this to be filled with eccentricities and fun and the quest style premise of Billie’s narrative that interweaves with the main plot sounds enticing
