Was a little wary of this from the title but already like the character of Madame Burova and the relationships she has with her family. The premise seems really interesting and although the flashbacks are to 70s and I wasn’t born then (which might normally put me off) the holiday entertainment reminded me of more recent experience at holiday parks and although there were lots of names and characters mentioned the author seems to have picked out features to make the key ones noticeable.
Definitely interested to read more if this and see how Billie and Madame Burova cross paths.
