We start this book on the last day of Madame Burova's last day of work before retiring. She is tired and weary from years spent learning of other's regrets and secrets in particular two brown envelopes that she has promised to take care of all these years. The story then flashes back to her beginnings as a clairvoyant.

The characters are like-able and I'm intrigued to find out how they all link together and what connects them to the two brown envelopes we heard about in the opening prologue. The story is well written and has an interesting plot, witty dialogue and the author sets the scene so well you can imagine yourself at a holiday park in the 1970s, just like in Dirty Dancing.
