So intriguing from the first couple of chapters

I'm intrigued in this already.
The characters all seem so interesting in their own way in this short snippet.
Shunty-Mae seems so formidable and hilarious and her daughter is just like her..
Jeanie is a typical teen and I love her relationship with her dad.
Definitely really invested in Billie's life.
The cover is really striking!
