Madame Burova by Ruth Hogan is very descriptive - Hogan describes everything in lots of detail. it is very life like, an the different times all have their own accents, with the big picture still there, although it is easy to get lost in the pages of the book. the cover is modern but interesting in a timeless sense. The idea of writing about a fortune teller and also a normal, everyday woman is amazing and Hogan has put these two together so seamlessly that it looks so effortless. I look forward to reading more as these few pages I have read seem only to set the scene, and I would really like to know that these envelopes contain if they are every so important.
