Ah what can I say, another really enjoyable book from Ruth Hogan. Madame Burova was a delightful read and one that I couldn’t put down.

I loved the chapters moving between the different eras, the descriptions of the 1970s in Brighton made me want to be beside the seaside or in a holiday park! It took me back to my own holidays when I was younger of sunny carefree days. Although I’ve never been to Brighton, I would love to visit one day soon!

I liked the short chapters, I just kept wanting to read on and so I read this fairly quickly. The different stories of each character were well written. I wanted Billie to get the answers she needed and loved her relationships with the other characters in this book.

The cover of the book was also fabulous and this will definitely be a book that I would recommend to others.
