This is not usually my preferred genres but never the less, I was sucked into the story from the very first page. It’s nothing like anything I’ve ever read and it really caught my attention!
Imelda is about to retire from her job as a tarot reader and looks back on her experience, remembering the good, but being pulled down by the past. She’s been told some very dark secrets, ones which she cannot escape no matter how hard she tries.
The author has such a brilliant way of connecting the characters together in a way that isn’t too revealing, but gives you just enough to understand their significance. Love the cover art too!
I can’t wait to read more!
