I am really interested in the themes of the book and dont often come across stories containing mystical topics such as tarot cards and readings. I was instantly drawn to the setting and feel of the book. It creates a dark, deep and inviting feel that adds to the mystical quality of the setting and characters. I really liked the description of the woman and it is clear that she is extremely focused on her fortune telling and readings. The description of the younger, University student seems simple and instantly allows the reader to connect with the character. This student seems to be struggling with work life and it gives the impression that she is seeking escape from stress. Both of these characters seem extremely different however it is clear that their lives cross paths. I am interested to see how their differences impact each other and allow them to better their lives.
