Genre not really my cup of tea but it was a good book which I found very intriguing. The preview has very much hooked me in. I absolutely love it. I am so fascinated to find out where the story leads too, and to gain more of an insight in the characters. It is written so well to the point where ur anticipating the plot and already correlating what may go wrong. It’s completely mesmerising the way the author writes. The story is depicted in such detail, using brilliant descriptions of each scene allowing the reader to imagine what is going on, creating a very detailed imagine in our heads. In London, it is time for another woman to make a fresh start. Billie has lost her university job, her marriage, and her place in the world when she discovers something that leaves her very identity in question. Determined to find answers, she must follow a trail which might just lead right to Madame Burova's door. There are different characters throughout which only adds to the excitement and the anticipation of the ending of this book. The book follows the path Madame Burova takes and also her will to free herself of all of the secrets she had to keep throughout her life. Overall the storyline is easy to follow and also a good read.
