I should have known when I read the prologue that this was not going to be my type of book.
The plot is allegedly about art fraud. However the unbelievable plot just seems to be a vehicle for the author to write about expensive fashion wear, graphic descriptions of perverted sex scenes and pointless murders.
Judith Fashleigh has two jobs - one as an assistant in a London art auction house and the other as a 'hostess' in a gentlemen's club. She uses men in both senses of the word and then as often as not murders them. The setting moves from London to the South of France, the Italian Coast, Rome, Lake Como and Paris. The author's descriptions of these places is without doubt the best/only good feature of this awful book.
