This book was described to me as fifty shades meets gone girl, and was a clever female led thriller, however I did not really enjoy it.
The book started off okay but then I felt the rest was pretty shaky. There wasn't much that I would have said put the book in the "thriller" category and the sex just wasn't sexy.
I feel like this had so much potential but for me it just fell flat, to be honest I didn't really like fifty shades either though.
The character went from being pretty cool, to whiny to mental and I felt no connection to her or her actions. Some of it was just plain confusing and seemed to be very muddled. This is a mash up I don't think worked. It either needed to be sexy or thrilling and for me ended up being neither.
