Already drawn in
I like how well the characters are already established in the first few chapters, along with the hints that Pearson may be an unreliable narrator.
However there is a lot to suggest that the although the overall theme will be a narration on policing topics it is taken a step too far in the storyline of the book. I'm already hooked and can't wait to see where this goes.
I like the minimalism but bright colours of the cover, along with the imagery of the brain being a dropped ice cream scoop - it really portrays the immagery of smart vs not-smart.
