The idea of this book from the blurb sounds so intriguing and if you manage to or enjoy reading such a style of writing then I'm sure it probably is. However, for me this book is just too 'intelligent' for me or perhaps I'm too 'stupid' as the writing style is so overly wordy (I feel like I should have swallowed a dictionary to read this) that I felt a bit stupid reading the first impression, ironic given what this book is about. I think the cover is catchy though whether it fits the story I'm not sure. As for the story, I only got through half of the first impression but just couldn't read anymore. I really want to like this but it's just too wordy and too slow and nothing remotely humorous happening. Also the way characters speak just didn't flow for me so I won't be interested in reading further which is a shame as I really liked the blurb.
