At first glance, I found the cover quite intriguing - a brain under the ice cream cone?! After reading the blurb and beginning to discover what the story would be about, I was further pulled in.
From the first few chapters, it is clear that Shriver has great command of describing both characters and setting. Including characters and subtly feeding us more information about them as the pages turned makes this a very interesting read!
