Lionel Shriver is not one to steer away from controversy and i dare say some will take pleasure in attacking her for this new book. The opening chapters though have grabbed my interest and i would like to read on to find out the conclusion to the world that is an exaggeration of our own. Parts of the book so far had me chuckling and suspect that others will have me tutting and getting annoyed. While i thoroughly enjoy relaxing into a new book, it's good too to sometimes read something that challenges your own beliefs. I suspect this book may challenge many readers.
