The writing in this sample is well done and has a hook!
I’m not sure what the overall book is trying to say/do though. There’s something about it that feels a bit “ick” to me (like that right-wing dog whistle “you can’t say anything anymore” crap). Maybe that’s the point? I’m not intrigued enough to pick it up and read further though.
