In a world where society is constructed that everyone is the same, same intelligence etc, the word smart is banned, exams are outlawed, no qualifications are needed for top jobs like doctors.
Two friends are totally at odds and have different beliefs so this puts stresses on the friendship and it even endangers all they hold dear.
