In a world not unrecognisable from the current one, there are so many concepts, only a step or two off what is currently happening, that can be worried about or laughed at. This novel reminds me of the film Idiocracy and captures the problems of the ever expanding censorship of semantics.
Cleverly written, the two main characters verbally spar whilst trying to defend their opinions and I would like to see how this works for both of them. A test of friendship and a question of the point of everything, with the very disconcerting suggestion that a doctor treating you might not be the brightest spark, promises a witty, thought-provoking premise.
