Lionel Shriver has never been that far from controversy with some of her her views and outspoken comments. So a new book from her will always pique the curiosity. Just reading the first impression of this has got me really excited. It seems to be tapping onto, in quite an extreme way, how precious we’ve become about language, turns of phrase and how appropriate things might be. I’m very excited to read this book. I suspect it may cause a lot of, shall we say, discussion!?
