So this book is made up if smaller stories. They all revolve around culture, religion, and tradition. They delve even deeper by picking up on what the author perceives to be wrong in this country. It shows their home country to be corrupt and negative but also shows the United Kingdom to be wrong in the beliefs of the country.
I am glad I read it. Some of the stories were rather dull while I found some informative and interesting. A real mix so I would say there is a story for everyone in this book.
I do understand that it must be hard growing up as a minority and I won’t sugarcoat it but we all live her and bad things happen no matter where you live, how much money you have, if you have family around you etc.
It certainly is an eye opener to how others feel but I would not go out and buy from this author. Very well written and I wish the author all the luck in the world.
