A child’s perspective
The book cover is bright and fun, even a little chaotic, just like the main character ms mind.
Whilst this is a children’s book, I feel it is very much a story that needs to be read by adults too.
Told in the first person by 8 year old Max, we learn about how the pandemic in 2020 affected him.
The style is very much of a child’s mind, with all its tangents & distractions. There’s something very endearing about Max and the book is very engaging.
Depending on your personal experience with coronavirus, I can imagine this read to be a very emotional read as the story progresses.
