Jeremy Williams has a real knack of writing with a child's voice. This is a terrific story of a child at the start of the coronavirus. As the title clearly states Max Counts To A Million. Max becomes aware of the virus and the fact that it's spreading worldwide and speaks to his father who's a doctor. The author has given his young readers a great account of the time from the start of the spread of the virus and parents trying not to worry their children which, as all children know, is a definite sign that there's something to worry about. I'm looking forward to giving this book to my great-nephew. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the First Look and I know he's going to love this book.
