I love the idea of a book about the pandemic told from a child’s perspective. Children must have had some of the hardest few years of any of us. Yes, they’re often more resilient and adaptable but they also had to deal with so much change, and how to deal with parents and other people they trust worrying about things. Max seems like an interesting character, for sure.
