From the first sentence you are thrown into seeing the world through an eight year old’s eyes. From not really being bothered by anything, to hearing scary things about something called a pandemic.
Very believable that this is the way a child would view the recent pandemic. The language is spot on, it could be one of my grandchildren talking to me.
I think this book is destined to be a big hit. It has great characters that are like people we know, and a setting that is very familiar.
