This is the first time I’ve come across the author. First seeing the cover and the blurb it felt like it would be a refreshing read to what I would normally select. As soon as I started reading that feeling continued. I liked the writing style and the sense that Max was speaking to me in a conversational tone. As I read along I could pick up when Max was being serious and when it was appropriate to have a chuckle. I would like to continue reading this to keep reading about Max and his perspective of the virus as well as how he counts to a million.
