This may be considered a children's book, but I think everyone could benefit from reading this.

Max is an 8 year old child who has just been introduced to the word pandemic. He doesnt know what the word means but he does know that children are told not to worry; even when the schools are closed, shops are empty and the world is boring.

I've never read a covid related book from the POV of a child, but I'm glad when I did it was this one. It's funny and heartwarming, as well as a little (but not too much) sad.
The author has done an amazing job capturing the chaos in a child's brain when the world is suddenly different. It has really made me consider the impact the lockdown had on children of all ages.

Lessons learned: 7 is the worst number. A little bit of motivation goes a long way. Children are determined and strong willed, they will always get what they want.. even if its 3 world records.
