Jeremy Williams` Max Counts to a Million is indeed a nice and good read. It is well written in such simple language and style and with an engaging storyline. Interesting and entertaining. The story of Max, during the early times of the pandemic, when he decides to count to a million. The story so well depicts and describes the pandemic circumstances from the perspective of an 8-year-old. The world is all focused on the health care system and many other issues that came because of the pandemic, but very few may have even thought of the impact this may have had on young children. The times when they felt separated from the whole system, were lonely and sad, particularly with the schools being closed and no friends around to spend time with or to play with. The story is heartwarming and also has many situations it feels painful. Overall, an interesting book that is a good read for everyone.
