I simply loved this book, it’s most definitely aimed at a younger audience but I’m absolutely obsessed with the such ease and flow of the book. It’s about this young boy named Max who’s sort of having a hard time trying to cope with the global pandemic. His mum tells Max to go and count to a hundred to help calm down but instead, Max decides to count to a million. It must be hard for Max, having both his parents at work most the time, having to be a child stuck at home with hardly any form of entertainment. It surely is a heart-warming book as i myself can almost envision the atmosphere and imagery created by the author, having went through an experience of a pandemic.I think although it may of not been my favourite, it is most definitely worth a read with the family! It truly captures the emotions that went along with the pandemic. I would say it’s most certainly a fun read for all ages!
