Amazing!
I have just received this book today and I have just finished reading it. To say it was amazing is an understatement! So the book is about a 9 year boy's point of view during the covid pandemic. His date works in a hospital and his mum's a nutritionist. If follows Max and his understanding of what's going on in the world. It goes through the emotion of how he worries about his dad and grandparents and how he feels about not seeing his friends and going to school. So when one day when he is not behaving and he mum tells him to go to his room and count to a million, that what he decides to do. First of all it was to annoy his mum but then he realised it helped him cope with all his worried. As he goes on mor and more people hear about what's going on and mum opens a just giving page so Max can raise thr money for charity. Next thing he knows he is giving interviews and appearing on TV. I'm glad all ended well. It left me feeling happy and proud of Max for completing the challenge. This is not just a book for children this is a book for EVERYONE to read and I know you will all enjoy it as much as I did.
