i am actually surprised how much i enjoyed this books (as i am late thirties and have no kids lol) this book does exactly what it promises, max counts to a million, although the book is fiction it feels entirely possible, many people did great things for charity during lockdown including kids, so im surprised no one thought to count to a million (unless they started and got board lol) i think it would be a great book for kids, the way max talks about feeling overwhelmed and his inability to to put it into words was very interesting, and idea of not wanting to worry his parents by telling them how he was feeling, this could be a great way to encourage kids to open up more and maybe feel less alone, i didn't think i would want to read a book set in lockdown but it was great to get a different view of situation, the book is both creative, inspiring and a tiny bit educational, covering a wide range of emotions and situations
