This was a fun light hearted read that really stood out to me. The character of max was really interesting for an 8 year old boy. I really felt that I could relate to max and his feeling in thd book. Throughout lockdown i feel like this would have been the sort of book i would've loved to read. The way it was written made it really easy to understand for a younger audience and it was a really warming heartfelt read. It wasn't fast paced but a more of a casual children's book. Although it's for children i thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone looking for something easy to read. Max seemed like a very considerate young boy ans i admire his resilience and understanding. The cover was berg bright and uplifting. It put me in a cheerful mood whenever I looked at it. Altogether i really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it ti anyone interested.
