Loved this lighthearted book and max is a very assuming and funny character. I knew there would be a lockdown book and for the younger kids this book is good. Reading it as an adult was still fun and I passed this on to my young grandson who loved it. There’s always a positive side to everything and for me this book was it. Never mind covid it showed resilience and fortitude and all parts and the light shone through in every chapter.I lived the way you can see the world through max’S eyes and the way he delivered this story was well worth a good read. I hope it sells a lot of copies and does a lot of good. I will endeavour to read this again at a later stage simply for the feel good factor. Buy a copy and you will smile all day long even at the poignant bits. Here is a feel good book with a message and that is everything must pass and as covid did we all learned a very valuable lesson.
