A Great Family Read. This book is about a boy called max who decides to try to count to a million. He manages to use it as a coping mechanism for when he needs to cool down. I read this book to my entire family and they absolutely loved it. A light hearted read which is great for all children no matter the time. Aimed at a younger audience and is written well enough for them to understand. When I asked my younger members of the family whether they enjoyed it, they all jumped up and wanted an immediate reread leading to me spending my entire afternoon spent reading to them. A great way to make younger children fall in love with reading and keep them occupied. The front cover was very enticing and the decorations on the paging really helped to keep the children engaged with the story. There wasn’t a single dull moment while reading this book and I would love to recommend it to anyone who has a younger audience.
