This is a lovely children's book that's correctly written for the target audience. The story is very clearly written from the quirky and crazy mindset of a child. Although there's a lot of humour in this book, it's also heartbreaking to think about how awful the world is from the perspective of a child during a pandemic. To say most of us adults had no idea what was going on, how could we explain it to our children.

I only wish Max was a real child because his character is so motivational and would be a real inspiration to the younger generation, and older generations alike.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and think it would do well to be in every library and primary school for young readers to enjoy.
I also think many adults would benefit from reading this book too.

A great and imaginative piece of work from the author. Close to a 5 star book for us.
