I love the styling of this book with the images around the text it drew me into the story and I was excited to get to know Max.
You learn so much about Max in the first look such as his dad being a doctor. This adds depth to his character.
He is just a normal kid but is clever funny and brilliant!

I enjoy reading childrens books and this style of story and character reminds of David Baddiel books. But I feel Jeremy Williams has created a new genre of clever characters for young readers to aspire to be like and to always be kind as you never know how different families are behind closed doors!
