I was thrilled when I got my hands on a copy of this book and couldn’t wait to share it with my grandson who sometimes can be a reluctant reader.
Max the main character was so well written, the story which documented covid in a easy sometimes lighthearted way was perfect. The short chapters were particularly good as they held the readers interest and allowed the story to be read at the readers own pace.
The impact of the pandemic on children can sometimes be overlooked and as I work in a school I am particularly interested in how it affects their daily lives.children have missed so much education and social interaction because of the lockdown and I love how this book addressed that. I will definitely be reading them this book as any information given is a bonus and can open up conversations which will be of benefit for everyone.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to read an on topic book which is a bit different .
